With more than 33 years of professional experience, including over 15 years in consulting, Genela Cabural Buhia has undertaken technical assignments in environmental and development planning, disaster risk reduction and management, climate and disaster risk assessment, local planning, project development and evaluation, institutional development, monitoring and evaluation, research, and capacity development.
Her professional experience spans engagements with local government units, national government agencies, international development and humanitarian organizations, civil society organizations, private-sector partners, and communities in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
